少し怖いのは、Android Marketには、ほとんど誰でもアプリを登録できること。グーグルによるアプリの審査はなく、ユーザーは自衛手段として開発者に関する情報から信頼性を確認するのと、インストール時にそのアプリが端末のどのデバイス、どのデータにアクセスするのかを確認した上で、少しでも怪しいと思ったらインストールを中断するぐらいしかない。ユーザーが明示的に許可しない操作は禁止されているから大丈夫だろうと思って「ネットワーク接続」と「コンタクトリスト情報へのアクセス」を許可したアプリが、コンタクト情報を盗み取って悪用する可能性もある。
