今回のイランの件は日本のweb/twitterユーザ達が一体感をもって巻き込まれていっている感じがしない。傍観者になっているっぽい。日本語と英語のTwitterのtimelineのギャップがすごく大きくなっている。それがもったいない気がしてならない。

日本のエンジニアの皆さんも、できることがたくさんありそうな気がします。今回の Cyberwar　に対抗してアメリカのエンジニア達が起こした行動にも、もっと協力できるはず。例えは悪いかもしれませんが、昔つぶれそうになった２ちゃんねるをUNIX板のエンジニアの人たちが救ったことがありましたよね。ああいうエネルギーや才能は、日本にずっとあって。もっと色々なところで発揮できるしすべきだと、私は、思う。

全英語圏が選挙の話で埋まってるわけでもないし、近くのヘブライ語圏やアラビア語圏でもイラン選挙にそれほど皆が向き合ってる訳でもないよ。アメリカ人がおせっかいなのは今に始まった話じゃないし、もっと多様だ。SSTが飛ぶ飛ばないの話してる宇宙系もいるし、ずーっとファイナンスの話してる集団（といっていいのかな）もいる。Opera Uniteの話題だって一時タイムラインを埋めた。

関わりたければ、いろんな方法で関わればいい。そういうアクションが緩く繋がっていけるほど、Twitterは「量」を蓄え始めてる。
